Start of field season for VU hydrologists

The weather improves, the winter is over, so it is time to do some applied hydrology to increase spirits! Yes, the field courses in Twente (Netherlands) and in Portugal (Algarve, Aveiro) for our first-year MSc Hydrology students start in May. This blog keeps you informed about our whereabouts. Let's hope that the weather will be excellent!

The 2014 field supervision team consists of Maarten Waterloo (soil physics / meteorology / ecohydrology), Koos Groen (groundwater hydrology - pumping test), Michel Groen (groundwater hydrology, geophysics), Ilja van Meerveld (soil physics / ecohydrology / catchment hydrology), Boris van Breukelen (hydrochemistry, surface runoff), Richard de Jeu (remote sensing, soil physics) and Henk Kooi (groundwater hydrology, geology). Participating students are Robbert, Miriam, Chiara, Nadja, Sigris, Oscar, Vera, Leonie, Emiel, Mirjam, Valerie, Floris, CĂ©line, Robin, Katya, Pepijn, Kate, Jordy, Nanne, Liang and Santiago.
